William E. Quilty Jr

William E. Quilty, Jr. of Milton, age 82, raised and lived most of his life in the Neponset section of Dorchester, MA.  Born May 5, 1940, and died on April 29, 2023.  He worked for the Sprinkler Fitters Union Local 550 Boston for many years before retiring. Son of the late Mary L. (Ford) and William E. Quilty, Sr.  Predeceased by his first wife, MaryAnn (Erwin) and his second wife Alice (Devine) Quilty. He is survived by his adult children, Annmary Quilty, Patrick Quilty and Patrice Shamshak and and her husband Thomas many grandchildren Ashley, Amanda, Brittany, Ryan, William and Siobhan and three great grandchildren Emalyn, Ivan and Amelia.  He is also survived by his sister Louise Broughsaides, his niece and nephew Robert Anderson and Kristin Link, his wife Alice’s granddaughters Katherine and Juliana Beane, and his dear childhood friend Chuck O’Connell.  Friend to his late wife Alice's later daughter Kathleen E. Campbell. 

Funeral service at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton Monday at 12:00 noon.  Visiting hours prior to the service on Monday from 10:00 to 12:00 noon.  Burial to follow at Milton Cemetery.
