William Livingstone Obituary

William Livingstone passed away unexpectedly on Friday August 6, 2021.  Bill was born August 11, 1962 in Boston and raised in Milton.

Bill was a graduate of Milton High School in 1980, where he was a star athlete in baseball, soccer, and basketball. He continued his education at Boston College, graduating in 1984, followed by receiving his M.B.A. from Fordham University in 1989. Over the next 32 years, Bill assumed various roles working for the Campbell’s Soup Company, specifically Pepperidge Farm and Snyder’s – Lance before retiring in 2021.

Bill was known as a hard-working Father, a provider, and generous human being. He always sought to help out friends, family, and anyone in need. A leader by example, he was a constant source of wisdom and guidance to his children and those around him.

Bill held a passion for New England sports, and shared that passion with his family. He continued to stay active in playing and coaching sports, and continuously working on improving his golf game.  He was a quick-witted jokester with a contagious laugh, that will be sorely missed.

Bill is the son of Rose Livingstone and the late Francis Livingstone.  He is survived by his two sons, Kyle Livingstone and Andrew Livingstone, and their mother Janet Livingstone, his life partner and Fiancé, Rebecca Wardlow, and her children Jacob and Allyssa, his siblings Jeanne (David) Atkinson, Catherine Bazylinski, Edward Livingstone, Marie (Robert) Shaughnessy, Janet (Louis) DePatto, Richard Livingstone, Eileen (Michael) DelVecchio, Anne Livingstone, Christine (Dale) Morris as well as many nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at St Agatha Parish, Milton, Saturday morning at 10:30 AM.  Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton Friday 4 to 7 PM.  Burial private.
