William T. Hogan passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 21st. He was listening to Fox Business News and was surrounded by Wall Street Journal and Barron's publications. He loved following the stock market and listening to financial news and commentary.
Bill was a larger than life character who was often the life of the party. He was always ready with a joke and he loved to laugh.
Bill grew up in South Boston with his loving parents and five brothers. He could always be found hanging on the corner with his friends. Bill enlisted in the United States Marine Corp after high school and served his country as a reservist. He dated Christine Tyrrell for five years before marrying her and starting a family. Bill graduated from Bentley University with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and began a lifelong career in Accounting. He worked for several firms before opening his own practice as a CPA and a CFP.
Bill enjoyed watching and cheering on the Patriots, Red Sox and Bruins, going to Foxwoods, and more recently, spending the cold winter months in Florida. He was sick of the cold, dreary winters in Massachusetts and was always trying to convince his wife to relocate to Florida.
