Virginia Dolan

Virginia Dolan (Collins), a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend passed away peacefully on the 23rd of September, 2023 in Milton.  Her 91 years were filled with love and dedication to her family, friends and community.  Virginia is survived by her six children, eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Virginia was born on January 7th, 1932 in Boston Massachusetts.  She was an avid dancer as a young girl, and was a proud graduate of Mission High School in Boston, class of 1949. After raising her six children, Virginia received her degree from The University of Massachusetts at Boston in 1981.  She was a long time employee of The John Hancock Insurance Company prior to her retirement in 1998.  In retirement Virginia loved to travel, and took many amazing trips through the US and Europe over those years.  She loved to read and made frequent trips to the Boston Public Library (Neponset Branch). Most of all, Virginia loved spending time with her family.
