Vincent P. Rafferty, age 42, of Braintree, formerly of Milton passed away April 3rd.  Born in Brighton, he was raised in Milton and graduated from Milton High School.  After graduation, he enlisted and served in the United States Marine Corp. Vincent retired as a Gunnery Sergeant after 20 years of service.  He worked as a Corrections Officer for Massachusetts Correctional Facility in Norfolk.  In his early years he was an Altar Boy at St. Agatha’s Church in Milton, and played baseball and football at Milton High School where he was loved by all his classmates.  In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his children and nieces and nephews, building forts, playing Legos, making puzzles and playing tickle monster, working on cars, riding ATV’s, traveling to Ireland and singing karaoke. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home Monday April 17th from 4:00-8:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday morning April 18th at St. Agatha Parish, 10:30am. Burial to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in West Roxbury.
