Valenti Biondi Obituary

Valenti "Lenny" J. Biondi was known for his generosity, boundless energy and kindness. He passed away peacefully on December 23, 2024, in Norwood, MA.

Lenny was the beloved husband of the late Terri(Gelerman) Biondi, and father to Jim Biondi of Weymouth Mass, Sherri Biondi of Menlo Park, CA and Debi Rosen of San Diego, CA. He was a proud grandfather to Aidan and Conor Dunne, James and Mia Biondi and Nick, Jay, and Whitney Rosen. His sisters, Marie Biondi-Lieber-Hughes of Norwood and Rita Croce of Canton, will fondly remember their brother's unwavering support and affection.

Raised and educated in the Bronx, Lenny's upbringing instilled in him a strong work ethic and a passion for community. He channeled these values into his career as the owner and operator of Biondi's Service Center in Quincy, where he honed his skills as a mechanic and became a highly respected businessman. In his many years at Biondi’s, Lenny became a trusted friend to many in the community, spending long days and often late evenings with people fixing cars and sharing stories.

Outside the gas station, Lenny had a passion for antique cars and "hotrods". For him, this was more than a hobby; it was a way of life. As a member of the Boston Area Roadsters, he enthusiastically participated in cruise nights, car shows and swap meets. His love for classic automobiles was infectious, and he was always eager to share his knowledge and experiences with fellow enthusiasts.

Lenny's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him, but his spirit will continue to inspire. His was a life well-lived, full of moments that will be cherished and stories that will be told for generations to come. Lenny's generosity, enthusiasm, and energy will be deeply missed by all. As we say goodbye to Lenny, we take solace in the memories he leaves behind and the profound impact he had on the lives of his loved ones.

Lenny's family will hold a ceremony to honor his memory and celebrate the remarkable man he was. He will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife Terri, where together they will continue to watch over their family with love and pride.

Visiting hours will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton on Tuesday January 7th from 4:00-7:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Agatha Parish Milton on Wednesday January 8th at 10:30am. Burial to follow at Sharon Memorial Park.
