Thomas F. Nolan, age 93, of Milton passed away December 25th at home surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Mitchelstown, County Cork, Ireland, he served in the Irish Army and immigrated to the United States at the age of 23. After coming to the United States he served in the United States Army during the Korean War and Vietnam Era. Tom worked for the City of Boston Traffic Control Department and also painted for the MDC for many years before retiring.
Beloved husband of the late Kathleen V. (McDonough). Father of Thomas W. Nolan of Boston, Catherine M. Nolan of Duxbury, Eileen M. Mann and her husband William of Braintree, Patricia A. Nolan of Braintree, Sheila R. King and her husband Robert of Braintree, Maureen T. McGrath of Dorchester, and Michael J. Nolan and his wife Lauren of Milton. Brother of George Nolan of Brockton. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by 3 sisters and 6 brothers. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary of the Hills Church, Milton Wednesday morning at 10 am. Burial Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
