Obituary

Teresa K. Tarpey of Milton passed away October 22nd.  Born and raised in County Mayo, Ireland she went to high school in Ireland and did her formal nursing education and training in London England. Teresa worked for many years as a Senior Nurse and Nursing Instructor for the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital and also for the Department of Public Health.  She was a devout Catholic and a longtime parishioner of St. Elizabeth’s Church in Milton. Daughter of the late Celia (Finn) and Austin Tarpey.   Sister of Benita Hume and her late husband Michael of Milton, Veronica Moore and her husband Rory of Stoughton and the late Daniel Tarpey and his wife Margaret Tarpey of County Mayo, IR.  Aunt of Karen Moore of Dorchester, Sheila Hume Sacco of Milton, Stephen Moore of Foxboro, and Paul Moore of Stoughton, Mary Tarpey, Pauline Tarpey, Stephanie Murphy, Daniel Tarpey, Shirley Tarpey, Sheila Potts and Ashland Tarpey all of Ireland.

 Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton Wednesday 4:00-7:00 pm.  Funeral Mass at (Our Lady of Visitation Parish) St. Elizabeth’s Church, Milton Thursday morning at 10:00. Burial Milton Cemetery.  For complete obituary and guestbook see www.alfreddthomas.com
