Rudolph J. Valentino of Milton passed away August 9th. Born and raised in Hyde Park, he graduated from Hyde Park High School. He worked as a Linotype Operator initially for the Patriot Ledger in Quincy and later for many years at Crimson Printing in Cambridge before retiring. He has lived in Milton for 64 years and was a member and previous Knight of the Year at the K of C in Milton, a member of the Bishop Regan Club in Mattapan, and was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing in the Endicott Golf League in Dedham. He was also an avid Boston sports fan but loved the New York Yankees.
Beloved husband of Patricia M. (McAteer). Father of John P. Valentino and his wife Rosemarie of Bourne, Maryann Schofield and her husband Jeff of Plainville, Karen Fallon and her husband Kevin of Walpole, Kevin Valentino and his wife Mary of Franklin, and the late Mark F. Valentino. Brother of the late Mary Valentino, Nelda Fullerton, Linda Cannucci, and Anthony Valentino. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton Sunday from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. Funeral Mass at Visitation Parish (St. Mary of the Hills Church), Milton Monday morning at 10:00. Burial Milton Cemetery.
