Robert "Bob" Cummings Obituary

Robert "Bob" Cummings, a man known for his loving nature, kindness, and adventurous spirit, passed away on January 15, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of joy and cherished memories. Bob's life was a testament to the power of living with gusto and embracing every moment with enthusiasm.

Born to the late Walter and Dorothy Cummings, Bob was a beacon of light in the lives of his family and friends. He shared an unbreakable bond with his wife, Wanda (Langway) Cummings, who stood by his side as a loving partner through life's many adventures. Together, they navigated the world with a shared sense of purpose and joy.

Bob's early years were shaped by the love and guidance of his parents and the camaraderie of his siblings. He was a cherished brother to Cindy Cummings Graton and her husband Austin of New Hampshire, and to his stepbrother Steve Cummings of Duxbury. Though predeceased by his brother Jimmy Star, the memories they created continued to bring smiles to all who knew them.

Bob's work as a truck driver for JL Musto in Boston was more than just a job; it was a reflection of his dedication and hard work. His colleagues knew him as a man who could be relied upon, someone who brought not just skill but also warmth to his profession.

Beyond his work, Bob's passions were the fuel that powered his life. His love for motorcycles, drag racing, car racing, and NASCAR was infectious. He found joy in the roar of engines and the thrill of speed, sharing this excitement with all who were lucky enough to join him at the track.

Bob's influence extended beyond his immediate family, touching the lives of his nephews Steve Hoxie, Al Caron, and R.J. Havlock, as well as his great-nephew Zane Caron. He was a mentor, a role model, and a source of endless fun, always ready to share his knowledge and his time.

The void left by Bob's passing is felt deeply by his family and friends, who will miss his presence immensely. His laughter, his stories, and his unwavering positivity will be remembered fondly by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

As we bid farewell to Robert "Bob" Cummings, we celebrate a life lived to the fullest. His journey may have come to an end, but the memories he created will continue to inspire and comfort us.
