Richard Eugene Patts passed away peacefully on October 12, 2021 surrounded by family and friends. Richard was born in Milton, attended Milton schools, and at 18 years of age joined the Army to serve in the Korean War for three years of his four enlisted years. Richard loved hard work and the simple pleasures of life. He enjoyed beekeeping, woodworking, and his long walks in any weather. He always had a twinkle in his eye and cheerful line for everyone he met, and always brightened everyone’s day. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Sophie Patts, his stepdaughter Loretta and husband Mark; as well as his grandchildren, Linda, Paige, Chris, and Gregory and their families. His departure will also be felt deeply by his many loving friends, neighbors and extended family members. A graveside service for Richard will be held at Milton Cemetery 211 Centre Street, Milton, MA at 12:30 p.m. Friday, October 15, 2021 and will be open to all family and friends who wish to attend.
