Richard J. McDonald, age 84, of Southwick, formerly of Milton passed away July 26th. Born and raised in Milton he graduated from Milton High School, Northeastern University and earned his Master’s in Psychology from Salem State University. Richard was a devout Catholic and enjoyed Biochemistry Research.
Beloved husband of the late Patricia A. (O’Connell). Father of Richard J. McDonald Jr. and his wife Maureen of Topsfield and Joseph M. McDonald and his wife Laura of Feeding Hills. Brother of the late Francis B. McDonald, Anna Hanson, and Robert McDonald. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral Mass at St. Agatha Church Milton Tuesday morning at 10:30. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton Tuesday morning prior to the mass from 9:00 to 10:00 am. Burial Milton Cemetery.
