Obituary

Paul M. Quigley, age 60, of Medford, formerly of Milton passed away unexpectedly February 16th at Mass General Hospital.  Born in Dublin, Ireland, he was raised in Milton and graduated from Milton High school.  He went on to earn his BA from Boston University his MS from Lesley University.  He was a proud member of the IBEW Local 2222 for many years before retiring in 2020.  Paul was a staunch advocate for services for the homeless and for those suffering from food insecurity – particularly, Community Cooks and the Somerville Homeless Coalition.  In his spare time he enjoyed listening to all types of music, reading on a wide variety of subjects, and traveling with family and friends. 

Beloved husband of the late Mary (Todd).  Son of Joan “Geraldine” (Bowen) Quigley of Wakefield and the late Dr. Kenneth K. Quigley.  Brother of Catherine A. McKenna and her husband Sean of Plymouth, Kenneth K. Quigley, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth of Milton, Margaret J. Quigley of Wakefield, William P. Quigley of Wakefield, and Sean T. Quigley of Attleboro.  Also survived by several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services private.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider supporting www.CommunityCooks.org or www.SommervilleHomelessCoalition.org.
