Obituary

Paul L. Fahey of Falmouth, Maine formerly of Dorchester, MA passed away on May 1, 2022 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Eileen M. (Denihan) Fahey. Devoted father of Paul M. Fahey of Dorchester, Brian J. Fahey and the late Anne Marie (Castaldo) Fahey of Quincy, the late Stephen F. Fahey and his wife Theresa (Kelly) of Braintree, Maura (Fahey) Monroe and her husband Mark of Williamsburg, VA and Eileen (Fahey) Gill and her husband Richard of Falmouth, ME. Son of the late Joseph and Catherine (McDonough) Fahey of Dorchester. Brother of the late John, Leo and Martin Fahey. Cherished grandfather of Katherine Monroe Dyson, Paul K. Fahey, Mark D. Monroe, Brian P. Fahey, Kristen L. Fahey, Patrick R. Gill, Emily Fahey and Jack F. Gill and great grandfather to Chloe Fahey. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Paul was a US Army Korean War Veteran, a graduate of Cathedral High School class of ‘52, and retired from the Boston Edison Company.  Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton Sunday 3:00 to 6:00 pm.  Funeral Mass at St. Ann Church, 243 Neponset Ave Dorchester Monday at 12:00 noon.  Burial St. Joseph’s Cemetery, W. Roxbury.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Maine Veteran’s Home, 290 US-1, Scarborough, ME 04074.
