Patrick "Pat" A Finn

 Patrick A. “Pat” Finn of Dorchester, passed away unexpectedly May 21, 2021 after a 2 year battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Patricia (Gallagher) and devoted father of Sean and Allison and her fiancé, Jake Sheehan. Son of the late Mary (Freeman) and the late Gerald Finn. Cherished brother of Diane McGoldrick and husband Fred, Richard Finn and wife Carol, Kit Finn and the late Raymond, Deac and James Finn. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Patrick was born and raised in Milton, forming life-long friendships that he cherished. An avid golfer, Boston sports fan, and a prolific  story teller, Pat was never at a loss for words and always had a story or a joke at the ready. He worked many years for Airborne/DHL and then as an independent courier.

The family wishes to thank the Doctors, Nurses, and Staff of the Beth Israel Hospital, Boston, 7 Feldberg Oncology Unit for the wonderful care he received. For Patrick you were all family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center- Bone Marrow Transplant Program. 

Visiting hours will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Wednesday, May 26 from 4 to 7 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Hills Church, Milton, Thursday morning at 11:30 AM. .
