Patrick J. Woods

Patrick J. Woods, age 91, formerly of Braintree, MA, Milton, MA and Cork City, Co. Cork, Ireland, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 26th. He was the beloved husband of Barbara J. (Parisi) Woods and devoted father of Patricia A. DeAngelis and her husband Robert of Boston, Deirdre M. Woods of Newton, Anne M. Kelley and her husband Michael of Braintree and Christopher J. Woods and his wife Stephanie of TX. Mr. Woods was also the dear brother of Finbar “Barry” Woods, Helen Coghlan, Billy George, and Mary Rose, all of Ireland and the late Denis, Noel and Richard Woods.  He is also survived by his 9 cherished grandchildren: Sarah, Katie, and Austin DeAngelis, Michael, Brendan, Liam, and Caroline Kelley, Braden and Hannah Woods and many nieces and nephews. A  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Agatha Church, Milton, Tuesday morning at 10:30. A visiting hour will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Tuesday morning,from 9:00 to 10:00 am prior to the Mass. Burial in Milton Cemetery. Retired employee of Unisys Corp., Boston and Washington, DC. Graduate of St. Mary's College, London. England. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to Catholic Charities, 275 West Broadway, South Boston MA 02127 or www.ccab.org/donate.
