Patricia C. Stockbridge, née Griffin, peacefully passed away at home on August 1st at the age of 83, surrounded by her loving family.

Pat was the beloved wife of the late Willis “Stocky” Stockbridge and a devoted mother to Thomas of Stoughton, Michael of Salem, and Steven and his wife Karen of Milton. Pat was also the beloved sister of the late Marie Griffin and Jeanette Keeley and devoted grandmother to Kate, Danny, John, Maggie, and Matt.

She is also survived by her sister-in-law Carolyn and her husband Jack as well many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Pat grew up in South Boston where she met her life-long friends, Midge, Joanie, and Evie. This friendship remained a constant source of joy, laughter, and comfort throughout her life.

In addition to being a mother, Pat’s greatest joy came from her role as “Nene” to her five cherished grandchildren. Whether it was trips to Disney and Aruba, sleepovers in Southie, or days spent at Castle Island, Pat and Stocky were a constant and caring presence in their lives. In her later years, Pat took great pleasure in seeing her grandchildren often, especially after moving to Milton.

Pat's humor, kindness, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
