Patricia Sue Paul, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away after a brief illness on July 17, 2025. Born in Wichita Falls, Texas, Patricia spent her formative years in Roslindale and was a proud graduate of Roslindale High School.
Patricia was known for her quiet demeanor and wicked sense of humor. She married her beloved husband, David C. Paul, of Milton, and together they built a life together over 55 years. She was a beloved mother to Lisa Gerry and her husband Jonathan of Taunton, Joshua Paul and his partner Karis Thoresen of Milton, and Zachary Paul of Stoughton. She was a devoted grandmother to her grandson Micah, and cherished all the time she was able to spend with him.
A voracious reader, Patricia shared her love for books with her children. Her creative talents were many; over the years she took up embroidery, sewing, and creating Lucky Bamboo arrangements. Patricia was especially known for her talents at knitting and crochet, and loved to gift her one of a kind creations to friends and family.
Patricia will be remembered as a loving, funny, and creative soul, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and artistry. Her absence will be deeply felt by her husband, children, grandson, and the many lives she touched. While her siblings, the late Preston Holman and Cora Jean Toner, and her mother, the late Athena Holman (Richardson), preceded her in death, the memories they shared will continue to live on through the stories Patricia left behind.
Visiting hours will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton, on Thursday July 24 from 9:00-10:30am with a service in the funeral home at 10:30am. Burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or the MSPCA.
