Patricia A. (Sullivan) Kerins

Patricia Anne Kerins (“Pat”), a beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2023.  Pat was born on March 15, 1929, in Lowell, MA to the late John Sullivan and Nora (McDermott).  She was a devoted sister to the late Lorraine Thyne, Jacqueline Swan, Beverly Conroy and John J. Sullivan (of California). 

Pat was predeceased by the love of her life, William J. Kerins Sr., to whom she was married for 59 years at the time of his passing.  Devoted mother of Brian Kerins and his wife Maryellen of Hyde Park, and William Kerins Jr. and his wife Anne of Norfolk.

Pat was a loving Grandma to William J. Kerins, III, Kathryn Calo, Annie Kerins, Patrick Kerins, Danielle Kerins, Brian Kerins and Courtney Kerins.  She was also a Great Grandma to Maxwell, Will IV, Dylan, Lilly and Joey.  Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life, and she loved spending time with them.  In addition to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, Pat is survived by many nieces and nephews who will remember her fondly.  Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Pat was a graduate of Lowell High School, class of 1946.  She was a dedicated employee of New England Telephone Company, where she worked for many years.  Pat always held a special spot in her heart for animals especially her beloved dog, Jenny.  Her home was always filled with laughter and love.  Pat had a knack for making everyone around her feel special and loved. 

She will be greatly missed, but her legacy of love and kindness will live on through those she touched.  Patricia A. Kerins, a life beautifully lived, a heart deeply loved.

A private service will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home.
