Patricia A. (Wysocki) Guglielmi, fondly remembered as Pat, departed this life on April 20, 2024, in the comfort of her Quincy home, encircled by her devoted children. Born in the heart of Boston on September 16, 1935, Pat's infectious laughter and sharp wit left an impression on everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Giovanni Guglielmi, and leaves behind her loving children, Laura J. Braza, John J. Guglielmi, and Gina M. Guglielmi, who will continue to honor her memory. Aunt to Sandra Wysocki Capplis, William Wysocki, Keri Daru, Stephen Wysocki, Amy Wysocki Satkevitch, Scott Wysocki, and Linda Morris.
A 1953 alumna of Archbishop Cushing Central High School, Pat was first and foremost dedicated to her family, embracing the role of a nurturing housewife with grace. Her warmth did not stop at her doorstep; as a nurse's aide at Harley Hospital, she forged enduring friendships. Pat's professional journey later led her to the finance sector, where she thrived as a meticulous bookkeeper for Land Transport and Seaboard, a testament to her keen intellect and work ethic.
Pat's passions were as diverse as they were profound. An accomplished cook, she took joy in treating her family to her delicious dishes. Her prowess in board games and Jeopardy was matched only by her expansive knowledge and agile mind. A cinephile at heart, she cherished romantic epics and admired actors like Brad Pitt, and her earlier years were marked by a flair for baking and crafts, avenues for her to channel her creativity and spread happiness.
Remembered for her vibrant sense of humor, intelligence, and heartfelt romanticism, Pat cherished her late husband deeply. Her youthful spirit, often seen sprinting and laughing in high heels, could effortlessly brighten any room and spark conversations both thoughtful and amusing. Pat's legacy is one of boundless love, infectious laughter, and a zeal for life that knew no bounds.
While Pat’s love for flowers was profound, she also was a past member of the Mass Audubon Society and loved birds and nature. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: Mass Audubon
