Patricia A. (Sullivan) Adamczyk, of Milton, fondly known as Pat, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2023 at the Miriam Boyd Parlin Hospice Residence in Wayland. Born and raised in Boston, Pat was readily recognized by her kindness, thoughtfulness and caring for those who were important to her.
Pat was the beloved wife of Francis (Frank) Adamczyk and a cherished sister to Sister Margaret L. Sullivan, CSJ, JCL, of Brighton, and Dorothy Lucas (Robert) of New Hampshire. She was also a sister-in-law to Matthew Adamczyk of Falmouth, Irene Lestage of Williamstown, Ann Marie Adamczyk of Adams, Cecile Carlton (Willliam) of Nashua, NH, Victoria Moulen (Alfred) of Chesire, Stanley Adamczyk (Nancy) of Southborough, and the late Norbert Adamczyk. Pat is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Born in Boston, Pat was raised in Mattapan and graduated from Cardinal Cushing High School. She then pursued a career in the medical field, working as a nuclear medicine technologist. Pat worked at Boston City Hospital, Mass General Hospital, and at Beth Israel Deaconess.
Outside of her professional life, Pat was a cherished member of the Fuller Village Community in Milton for the last 6 years. She was a woman of many talents and interests, with a particular passion for the creative arts. She spent her free time engaged in doll making, quilting, knitting, and crocheting, bringing joy to herself and others through her beautiful, handcrafted creations.
Pat’s memory will be cherished by her loving family, her friends and all those who had the privilege of knowing her. As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate a life well-lived.
