Pasqualina Rossetti, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2025, at the age of 100. Born in the quaint town of Mirabella Ecolano, Italy, on May 25, 1925, to the late Necola and Rosena Minichielo, Pasqualina's life was a century of devotion to her family, her passions, and her community.
Pasqualina's journey brought her love and companionship when she married her beloved husband, Luigi Rossetti, of Milton. Together, they built a life filled with joy and the laughter of children. She was a cherished mother to Prisco Rossetti and his wife Julie of Walpole, Carlo Rossetti, Antonio Rossetti, and John Rossetti, all of Milton. Her role as a grandmother was one she held dear, bestowing wisdom and affection upon her grandchildren, Daniel Rossetti of Milford and Jonathan Rossetti of Franklin.
Throughout her life, Pasqualina embraced the role of homemaker with grace and dedication. She created a warm and welcoming home where anyone could find comfort in her presence and a seat at her table. Her hands were rarely still, as she found joy in tending to her garden, nurturing her beloved tomato plants to yield a bountiful harvest. Her cooking was a blend of tradition and love, a testament to her Italian heritage, and her sewing was a craft she pursued with precision and artistry.
Those who knew Pasqualina would describe her as the embodiment of love, kindness, and thoughtfulness. Her gentle spirit and generous heart left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of crossing her path. She approached life with a tender thoughtfulness that could be felt in her every action, from the meals she prepared with care to the quiet moments spent in her garden, surrounded by the beauty of nature she so adored.
Pasqualina's legacy is one of unwavering love and the simple, yet profound, acts of caring that define a life well-lived. Her memory will continue to bloom in the gardens she tended, in the recipes she passed down, and in the hearts of her family, who will carry her spirit forward. As we bid farewell to Pasqualina Rossetti, we celebrate a centennial of life that was as rich and fulfilling as the gardens she so lovingly cultivated. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her influence will continue to nurture the lives of those she touched for generations to come.
Funeral service will be private for the family.
