Maureen E Ward

Maureen E. Ward of Dorchester, formerly of Mission Hill, passed away September 30th peacefully after a period of four years with pancreatic cancer. She was a retired Boston School Teacher. Daughter of the late Richard and Emily Ward, she is survived by her brother Richard Ward and predeceased by her sisters Ann Goffin and Teresa Kelley. Aunt of Jennifer Ferry, Keith Goffin (Mary) and the late Deidre Hoffman, Gerard Kelley, Erin Kelley (Gregorio) , Garrett Kelley (Mandi) and 7 grandnieces and grandnephews. Also survived by her brothers-in-law; Floyd Goffin, MD of ME and Gerard Kelley of TX, dear cousins and friends. Funeral Mass at St. Agatha Church Saturday morning at 10:30. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton Saturday morning prior to the mass from 9:00 to 10:00 am.  Burial private.   Maureen wished to thank the staff at Shapiro 9 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Ctr., Boston. Especially Carol Pilgrim, MD and Pamela Dolt, RN.
