Mary Virginia "Ginny" Albanese

Mary Virginia (Ginny) Albanese passed away Wednesday July 7th at the age of 88.  Mary was born on September 9, 1932 in North, South Carolina.  She married John Albanese in Charleston, South Carolina.  Mary worked for Bell Telephone while living in Charleston, after moving to Milton, where Mary and John raised their four children. She later worked in the Accounting Department for Stop & Shop in Quincy.  Mary had a passion for gardening and cooking, but no love as strong as her love for her family. Mary was a devoted grandmother and great grandmother and had a special passion for her grandchildren. Mary will be remembered for her sense of humor and infectious smile and compassion for all.  Devoted mother of the late Debbie Kilduff and her husband Tom of Scituate, Michael Albanese and his wife Julie of Milton, Thomas Albanese of Weymouth and Lisa McKeen and her husband Joe of Braintree.  Cherished grandmother of Tommy, Kevin and Christopher Kilduff, Connor, Madison and Justin McKeen, Lauren, Dominic and Tiffany Albanese and Eric Albanese. Loving sister to Eloise, Patricia and the late William.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Funeral services to be held at St. Agatha Church, Milton Tuesday July 13th at 10:30 am. Burial in Milton Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visiting hours Monday July 12th 4-8 pm at the Alfred D Thomas Funeral Home.
