Mary Ann D’Agostino (Rosato), age 87, of Pembroke, formerly of Milton and Sagamore Beach passed away March 19th. Born in Boston, she was raised in Milton and graduated from St. Gregory’s School in Dorchester. She worked as a Bookkeeper for New England Telephone for 10 years and later for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Department of Education for 12 years before retiring in 1992. Mary Ann loved Cape Cod and walking the beach collecting shells that she made crafts with. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, the Milton Women’s Club and the Girl Scouts where she was a Girl Scout Leader, Cookie Chairman, and Director of the Summer Day Camp at Cunningham Park in Milton. Family meant everything to Mary Ann and she was devoted to her children, grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was also an avid Boston sports fan and enjoyed cooking and traveling.
Beloved wife of the late Angelo D’Agostino Jr. Mother of Evamarie Thomas and her husband Joseph of Pembroke and Anne Bliss and her husband Lance of Marshfield. Sister of Louis W. Rosato, Jr. and his wife Mary of Fairfax Station, VA. Grandmother of Amy Bliss of Duxbury, and Hannah and David Bliss of Marshfield. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave, Milton Tuesday from 4-7 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Mary of the Hills Church, Milton Wednesday morning at 10:00. Burial Milton Cemetery.
