Mary K. Wyse (née Keane), of Hingham, formerly of Milton passed away peacefully on December 12, 2025, embraced by the love of her devoted family. Born in Dorchester, MA, on April 24, 1930, Mary's journey through life was marked by her dedication to her loved ones and her deep religious convictions.

Mary's early years were spent in the close-knit community of Dorchester, where she attended St. Rita's High School, laying the foundation for a life guided by education, faith, and service. Her commitment to her family was evident in her role as a beloved wife to the late Edmund P. Wyse, and as a nurturing mother to Deirdre Ginns and her husband Steven, Joseph Wyse, Erin Duggan and her husband John, Brigid Casey and her husband Gerry, Colleen Chave and her husband Bill, and the late Timothy Wyse and Maureen Sullivan. She leaves behind her brother James Keane of Wakefield, and was pre-deceased by her brothers Edward and John and her sister Ann.  She leaves 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, who will carry forward the legacy of her kind spirit and warm heart.

Mary's dedication to her family extended into her professional life, where she served with a smile as a cafeteria worker at B.C. High, nourishing countless students with both food and kindness. Her work there was more than a job—it was a testament to her nurturing nature and her commitment to community service.

A devout Catholic, Mary's faith was the cornerstone of her existence. She attended daily Mass at St. Paul's in Hingham, and before that at St. Pius X in Yarmouth and St. Agatha Church in Milton. Her devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus was a source of comfort and inspiration, guiding her through life's challenges and triumphs. She found fellowship and joy in her involvement with the St. Agatha Bowling League, where she formed many cherished friendships.

Mary's love for her family knew no bounds. She relished the time spent with her children and grandchildren, imparting wisdom and creating memories that would last a lifetime. Her presence at family gatherings was a beacon of love and unity, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A lover of life's simple pleasures, Mary found happiness in the summers spent on Cape Cod, where she volunteered at the Holy Trinity Thrift Shop, contributing to the community she held dear. Her green thumb was evident in the lush house plants she tended with care, and her sense of adventure shone through in her fondness for shopping and exploring new places.

Mary K. Wyse lived a life rich in faith, family, and service. As we bid farewell to this remarkable woman, we take solace in the knowledge that her legacy will live on through the lives she touched and the love she shared. Her journey on earth may have concluded, but her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us for generations to come.
