Mary J. Driscoll (Joyce), of Milton, a loving, kind, and faith-filled woman, died on April 14, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family and the many memories she created throughout a life marked by devotion, hard work, and grace.

Mary was the beloved wife of Joseph F. Driscoll. She was the devoted mother of John J. Driscoll and his wife Lorraine of Plymouth, and Timothy J. Driscoll of Warwick, RI. She was the cherished grandmother of Anabella, Cecilia, Cameron, Braiden, Keira, and Christian Driscoll. Mary was the sister of Una Halloran of Quincy and the late John Joyce and Ellen Folan. She was the daughter of the late Patrick and Norah Joyce. Her family was the center of her life, and she treasured every gathering, every conversation, and every moment spent in the company of those she loved.

Mary was proud of her education and earned an Associate Degree from Massasoit Community College. She valued learning and carried that appreciation throughout her life. She was known for her intelligence, practicality, and strong work ethic, qualities that served her well in every role she held. Mary worked for the Massachusetts State Lottery, where she brought dedication and skill to her work. She also served as a Realtor for Jack Conway in Milton, continuing to demonstrate the same commitment, professionalism, and care that defined her throughout her life.

Born in Ireland, Mary came to the United States at the age of 14, beginning a new chapter with courage and determination. She lived first in Savin Hill and later made her home in Milton for 50 years, where she built a life rooted in family, faith, and community. She was a faithful and active parishioner of St. Agatha Parish in Milton, and her devotion to her faith was an important part of her life. Mary also served as a Eucharistic minister at her parish. She found strength and comfort in her beliefs and shared that quiet strength with those around her.

Mary loved working and took pride in being productive and useful. She also loved animals, and her affection for them reflected the tenderness that came naturally to her. She enjoyed reading and found joy in the simple pleasure of a good book. Irish dances was among her many interests, and it connected her to her heritage in a meaningful and joyful way. She especially loved the beach and cherished summers spent in Hyannisport, where the beauty of the shoreline brought her peace and happiness. These interests were part of the rich and full life she lived, and they remain part of the memories her family will hold dear.

Those who knew Mary will remember her as a woman of strong work ethic, compassion, and steady faith. She had a loving heart, a kind presence, and a spirit that touched the lives of many. She carried herself with dignity and generosity, and she offered support and love to her family and friends throughout her life. Her legacy lives on in the family she nurtured, the faith she practiced, and the example she set through the way she lived each day.

Mary J. Driscoll will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her life was one of devotion to family, commitment to work, and steadfast faith. Though she is no longer with us, her memory will remain a blessing, and the love she gave will continue to be felt by those whose lives she enriched.
