Mary Frances (McDonald) Hurley

Mary Frances Hurley ( McDonald) passed away peacefully, her family by her side on October 4th, 2018. Born in Boston 98 years ago, Mary was raised in South Boston and lived many years there until she moved to Mattapan,  For many years, she was a Massachusetts employee working for the M.D,C. She was a former member of the South Boston Mother's Social Club and Castle Island Assn. She enjoyed reading, walking, playing golf and Aquasize in Marco Island, FL. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was the wife of the late John J. Hurley. Loving mother of Joyce M. Wilson and her husband, Allan of No Falmouth, John J. of Dennis, Joseph M. of Weymouth and Paul F. Hurley of Norwell. Proud grandmother of Jennifer Wilson, Courtney Nixon, Meredith Doty, and Gabrielle Hurley, Brigit Kanelos, Michael, David, Aaron, Erin and Patrick Hurley and 9 great -grandchildren.  Cherished sister of Helen Torney of Braintree and the late Cliff, Leo, Bill, Joe and Jack McDonald. Mother-in- law of the late Lorraine Hurley. Visiting hours will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton Monday 4 to 8PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Pius X Church, Milton Tuesday morning at 10:00. Burial Blue Hill Cemetery..
