Mary T. Herrity (Clogan), passed away peacefully at the age of 95. Born on August 18, 1930, to the late John H. Clogan and Mary (Monaghan), Mary's life was a testament to the power of warmth and thoughtfulness that she extended to everyone she met.

Mary grew up in Dorchester, where she attended St. Peter's School, laying the foundation for a life marked by diligence and a strong sense of community. Her education was not just a period of learning but a chapter where she formed lifelong friendships and values that she carried throughout her life.

In her professional life, Mary was known for her exceptional work ethic and her ability to connect with people. She served as an administrative assistant at Brown Brothers Harriman, where her colleagues became an extended family, appreciating her for her support and her ever-present smile. Later She spent many years as a receptionist at Milton Cable, where her voice became familiar and comforting to those who called.

Mary's heart found its truest joy in her family. She was the beloved wife of the late John Herrity, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories and love. Together, they raised their children, John F. Herrity and his wife Joan of Weymouth, and Maureen Baker of Nashua, NH, instilling in them the values of love and kindness that she embodied. She was pre-deceased by her brother John V. Clogan and is survived by his wife Anna M. Clogan.

The legacy of Mary's love is carried on by her adored granddaughter, Julia Herrity and her late grandson, Brett Baker. Mary's gentle spirit and unwavering support to them was the cornerstones of many happy family memories.

Mary's life was one of serene beauty, much like the Popponesett Beach where she lived. The tranquility and joy she found by the sea were reflections of the peace and happiness she brought to others. Her home was a haven, not just for her family, but for all who knew her.

In every role she played, from devoted wife and mother to caring sister and doting grandmother, Mary exemplified the virtues of being loving, kind, and thoughtful. Her presence was a comfort, her advice a treasure, and her love a guiding light.

As we say goodbye to Mary T. Herrity, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a woman dearly loved. Her spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her, and her memory will be cherished forever. Mary's life was a journey of love, and though she has set sail from our shores, the ripples of her kindness will be felt for generations to come.
