Mary R. Bottary

Mary R. Bottary, age 60, of Quincy passed away November 12th at home.  Born in Boston, she was raised in Hyde Park attended Boston Schools and graduated from Nursing School in New York.  She worked for many years as a Registered Nurse for the Massachusetts Department of Corrections before retiring.  Her faith was paramount in her life and she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. 

Mother of Christine A. Bottary of Quincy, Mary R. Smith and her husband Robert Mitchell of Quincy, and the late Raymond J. Smith II.  Grandmother of Christopher Bottary, Raymond J. Smith, Robyn and David Cumming.  Daughter of the late Leo F. Mary R. Bottary.  Sister of the late Leo F. and John L. Bottary.  Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton Tuesday from 4-7 pm.  Funeral Mass at St. Agatha Church, Milton Wednesday morning at 9:00 am.  Burial Mt Benedict Cemetery.
