Martha E. (Davis) Jones

Martha E. Jones (Davis), age 84, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on May 11th at the Boston Medical Center.  Born, raised and educated in Toronto, Canada she worked for Gillette for 33 years before retiring in 2000.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her great grandson Shane who was the joy of her life.  She was an avid reader and never more alive then when she was on the dance floor.  With angels peering over her shoulders she pushed her way thru many challenges of life.

Beloved wife of the late Robert Jones.  Cherished mother of Christopher Jones and his wife Kathleen of Easton and Sandra White and her husband Ronald of Quincy.  Loving Nana of Leah White, Rachael and Brendan Jones.   Great grandmother of Shane Maguire.   Dear sister of Mary Frye of Taunton and the late Ruthie, Kenny, Betty, David, Tommy, Frankie and Margie. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Funeral Service at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton Monday morning at 11:00 am.  Visiting hours for friends and family are Sunday 3-5 pm.  Burial Cedar Grove Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Martha’s memory to The Salvation Army MA Division 25 Shawmut Road Canton, MA 02021 or donate online at www.salvationarmyUSA.org
