Marilyn Ann (Hanley) Johnson

Marilyn A. Johnson (Hanley) of Summerville, SC, formally from Milton, MA and Cotuit, MA, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2024.

Marilyn was the beloved wife of the late George F. Johnson, Mother of Jeffrey Johnson of Summerville, SC, Jill McElvaney of Ocoee, FL and George F. Johnson Jr. of Mansfield MA.  Sister of Constance DiNatale of Melbourne, FL and Barbara Hanley of Bonita Springs, FL. She is survived by her seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Marilyn was a lifelong resident of Milton, MA prior to retiring to Cotuit, MA in 1997 and later to Summerville, SC in 2022.  She was a graduate of Jeanne d’Arc Academy in Milton, MA and LaSalle Jr. College.  Marilyn was a longtime employee at Curtis Farms grocery store in Quincy, MA where she worked as a cashier and book keeper.  Marilyn loved entertaining at her house and enjoyed playing bingo on her computer.

Visitation will take place at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton, Wednesday May 22nd from 10:00 to 11:00 am.  Burial will follow at Milton Cemetery.
