Margaret S. (Sinclair) Recanzone

Margaret S. Recanzone (Sinclair) of Weymouth, formerly of Milton passed away November 10th at the South Shore Hospital less than an hour after receiving last rights and saying her final goodbye to her son.  Born in Dorchester, she graduated from Jeanne d’Arc Academy in Milton and Mt. St. Mary College in New Hampshire where she majored in English.  After graduating from college, she worked for the Patriot Ledger as a writer before retiring.  She later worked part time for the Milton Transcript and as a Teacher’s Aid for the Pierce Middle School in Milton.  She also volunteered for the Milton Historical Society and enjoyed trying new restaurants every week.  She was a longtime parishioner at St. Elizabeth’s Church in Milton where she helped count the weekly collection. 

Beloved wife of the late Kenneth W. Recanzone.  Mother of Ted Recanzone of Weymouth.  Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton Tuesday 5-7 pm.  Funeral Mass at St. Elizabeth’s Church Milton Wednesday morning at 10.  Burial Mt Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
