Linda D. (Hayes) Waszkiewicz

Linda D. (Hayes) Waszkiewicz, age 63, of Wrentham, passed away peacefully at home on October 17, 2020. She was the beloved wife of Peter M. Waszkiewicz and devoted mother of Kathleen M. Waszkiewicz of Braintree and Sarah J. Dacko and her husband Brett W. Dacko of Franklin. Linda was the dear sister of Patricia Hayes of Rockland, Thomas J. Hayes of Derry, NH, Nancy Clapp of Hudson, FL, Robin Howland of Quincy, William Hayes of Milton, Robert Hayes of Port Jefferson, NY, James Hayes of Whitman, Valerie Romero of Hull, Mary Yarosh of Weymouth and the late Ethel Ramonas. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Linda was a longtime employee of the Quincy Neighborhood Club. After retiring she worked as a Personal Assistant/ Caregiver for the elderly. She loved her large extended family and enjoyed spending time, cooking for them all. She was nicknamed the “Camp Coordinator” of the family and would always bring everyone together. Linda also enjoyed gardening, canning, fishing, nature, cooking and cribbage. Her favorite place to be was at her cabin in NH with her family sitting by the wood stove.  

Visiting hours will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Thursday, October 22nd from 3 to 7 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Gregory Church, Dorchester Friday morning at October 23rd at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Linda has a special place in her heart for the homeless.
