Kathleen A Greene

Kathleen A. Greene of Milton passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on February 2nd.  Born and raised in Charlestown, she graduated from Charlestown High School and lived in Dorchester for many years.  She worked as a Crossing Guard for the City of Boston for many years before retiring.  Kathleen loved spending time with family and friends and enjoyed a good laugh.  She was a great cook and enjoyed reading cook books. 

Beloved wife of the late John J.  Mother of John Greene and his wife Danielle of Lancaster, SC, Robert Greene and his wife Robin of York, ME and Kathleen M. Pettenati and her husband Richard of Abington.  Grandmother of Rachael Greene, Conor Greene, Jordan Greene and his wife Kyla, and Brooke Pettenati.  Funeral Mass at St. Elizabeth’s Church, Milton Wednesday morning February 8th at 11:30.  Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton prior to the mass Wednesday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 am.  Burial Milton Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org or to NVNA Hospice 120 Longwater Dr. Norwell, MA 02061.
