Karen L. Davis, age 65, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2026, after a long illness. She was born June 21, 1961 to the late Paul and Cecilia (Shephard) Davis and was raised in Hyde Park and Canton.
Karen was the loving sister of Diane Davis-Conroy and her husband Danny of Canton and of Kevin Davis and his partner Terri Charron of Marshfield and she was the loving aunt of her nephew Daniel Conroy and his wife Kathryn O’Neill of Alexandria, Virginia.
She graduated from Notre Dame Academy in Hingham and went on to live in Dorchester. For many years, Karen worked as a clerk at Bank of America where she received several awards and acknowledgements for her work.
Karen loved animals and loved to dance.
For the past 10 years Karen has lived with frontal temporal dementia and resided at a rehabilitation home where she was treated with compassionate care, kindness, and dignity.
And for the last year Karen was also cared for by hospice who helped to support her.
Karen will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
Relatives and friends invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Gregory Church, Dorchester Thursday July 9th at 11:00. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave Milton, Thursday morning prior to the Mass from 9:00 to 10:30 am. Burial will follow the Mass at Canton Corner Cemetery
