Joyce M. Reynolds (Clark), a beacon of love and faith, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2024, at the age of 77. Born on March 4, 1947, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Joyce was the cherished daughter of the late Eileen (Murnane) and Philip Reynolds. Her life was a testament to her unwavering kindness and the deep bonds she forged with those she held dear.
Joyce's journey began in the historic city of Cambridge, but her heart and her home were firmly rooted in Milton, where she was a longtime resident. She attended Boston University, where she earned her bachelor's degree before embarking on a fulfilling career as a paralegal specialist for the federal government. Her professional life was marked by a commitment to justice and a meticulous work ethic, traits that earned her the respect of her colleagues and the community she served.
Beyond her professional achievements, Joyce was a family-oriented soul, dedicating her life to her loved ones. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Amy Clark of Weymouth, and her son, Christopher Clark and his wife Carol of York, Maine. Joyce's legacy of love extends to her six grandchildren, Matthew and his wife Lauren, Joseph and his fiancé Hannah, David, Brady, Liam, and Caroline. Her role as a grandmother was further blessed with two great-grandchildren, Addison and Emma, who brought her immense joy.
Joyce was also a dear sister to Janet Reynolds of Connecticut, Vincent Reynolds and his wife Maureen of Beverly, Brian Reynolds and his wife Nancy of Beverly, Michael Reynolds of Derry, New Hampshire, and Joanne Reynolds and her husband Michael of Wakefield. Her siblings will remember her as the glue that held the family together, always there to listen, support, and guide.
A devout Catholic, Joyce was an avid parishioner of St. Agatha Church in Milton and St. Elizabeth Church. Her faith was the cornerstone of her existence, guiding her through life's challenges and joys. Joyce's faith-filled spirit was evident to all who knew her, as she lived her beliefs through acts of kindness, charity, and unwavering support for her church community.
The family would like to thank the caregivers at South Cove Manor for the comfort they gave to Joyce, as well as the insights, knowledge, and emotional support they showed our entire family.
