Pizziferri - Joseph M. Sr. “Joe” born December 31st, 1936, originally from Dorchester and a long time resident of Marina Bay, Quincy, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at the age of 87. Joe was the son of the late Domenic and Pauline (Mortelliti) Pizziferri, brother of Mary Clougherty and Frank Pizziferri, and the late Michael Pizziferri, Angelina Mullaney, and James Pizziferri.
He is survived by his former wife, Theresa Pizziferri, and his seven children. Diane Hobart and her husband Steven of Pembroke, Donna Tempesta and her husband James of Braintree, Debra Larson and her husband Hal of Braintree, Susan Warsheski and her husband Philip of Abington, Joseph Pizziferri Jr and Barbara of Braintree, Theresa Pizziferri of Braintree, & Gina Capaccioli and her husband Arthur of Braintree.
Dear grandfather of Timothy Hobart, David Pizziferri, Joseph III and Anthony Pizziferri, Hal and Holly Larson, Jenna and Julie Warsheski, and Mia and Dominic Capaccioli. Also survived by many relatives and friends.
At an early age Joe started working on his father's ice truck. From there he opened up his own home heating fuel company, then expanded his interest to the restaurant business. He always had a passion for real estate and then went on to become a real estate entrepreneur. He enjoyed cars, trucks, music, and good Italian food.
Visiting hours will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave., Milton on Friday October 4 from 4:00pm-8:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday October 5 at 10:00 am at St. Agatha Parish, Milton. Burial to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in West Roxbury.
