Joseph Kenneth Daly 65 years old passed away suddenly on February 3, 2021. Joe worked over 38 years as a custodian in the post office retiring April 2020. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. Born in 1955, he was the son of Joseph and Joan (Fenton) Daly, both deceased. Joe adored his family including his wife Kathleen “Katie” Daly, his son Conor, his beloved dog Belle and his siblings. He is survived by his sisters, Nancy Mascaro of New Jersey and Barbara Hale of Marshfield and brother, Christopher Daly and his wife Diane of Norwell. He was also very much loved by many nieces and nephews.
Joe will be remembered for his outgoing personality and love for a good chat. He also loved to keep in shape and was a longtime member of the Quincy YMCA. Additionally, he also loved to travel, was an avid reader and sports enthusiast. He will be terribly missed by his family and friends.
Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave, Milton Friday morning from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm. Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, only 10 guests will be permitted within the funeral home at once, masks are required, and guests should bring their own pens to sign the register book. Burial will be at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne Friday afternoon at 2:30 pm.
