John "Jack" R. O'Brien

Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton Wednesday June 21st from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.  Funeral Mass at St. Agatha Church, Milton Thursday morning June 22nd at 10:30.  Burial Mass National Cemetery, Bourne Thursday afternoon at 1:30.   

John R. “Jack” O’Brien, age 89 of Quincy passed away June 13th.  Born in Boston, he graduated from Boston College High School and Boston State College and was a proud Korean War Veteran of the United States Marine Corp.  Jack worked in Public Relations for Boston Edison for many years before retiring.  He loved writing and was known to have a great sense of humor.  He loved people and especially his wife of 54 years and his children. His Catholic Faith was paramount in his life. 

Beloved husband of Eileen K. (Flaherty).  Father of John J. O' Brien of Los Angeles, CA and Mary Kate O'Brien of Quincy.  Brother of the late Richard O'Brien.
