John J. Sawicky

John Sawicky of Milton passed away peacefully on December 3, 2022. John was born on November 4,1940 and was raised in Dorchester and had many wonderful stories about what it was like growing up there. He then moved to Milton and resided in there for over 50 years. Just before moving to Milton, he met and marries his beautiful wife, Mary. John is the beloved loving father of John (John's wife, Pooja, and their two children, Julian and Asha of Lexington), and his son Andrew (of Milton). He was instrumental in the care of his son, Andrew, having taken him to each and every dialysis session over several years. He enjoyed caring for his home, especially his yard and garden, taking special pride in having the greenest lawn on his street. In retirement, he spent many weekends working with his son, John, on a variety of projects. He enjoyed fishing, especially in Newburyport. He loved meeting friends and acquaintances for coffee at his local Dunkin Donuts.

An hour of visitation will be held on Friday morning, December 9th from 9am to 10am followed by a Funeral Mass at St Agatha Church, Milton at 10:30am. Interment will be held in Milton Cemetery following the mass. Relatives and friends are invited.
