Obituary
Joan F. McKinnon of Milton passed away June 19th. Born and raised in Boston, she graduated from Mt. St. Joseph’s Academy in Brighton and attended Catherine Gibb’s School, Wyndhaven Jr. College and Rhode Island School of Design. She designed clothing and staged fashion shows for Filene’s then worked as a clothing designer for William Carter Company until retiring.
Beloved daughter of the late Grace and Ronald McKinnon. Aunt of Shaun Coughlin of Cambridge and the late Susan MacLaughlin of Milton. Beloved by their respective spouses Janet of Cambridge and Thomas MacLaughlin of Milton. Great aunt of Sarah, Laura, and Anna Coughlin and Zachary MacLaughlin and Shevaun Roper. Also fondly remembered by Matt, Matthew and Brady Roper. Relatives and friends will gather at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton Saturday at 10:45 am and process to Milton Cemetery for a graveside service at 11:30 am.
