Jane Archer Gilmore, a beloved resident of Milton, MA, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 2, 1970, in London, England, to David and Joan Archer. 


Jane was the devoted wife of James C. Gilmore of Milton and the cherished mother of six children: Carlos, Joanna, and Andrew of California, and James, Richard, and David of Milton. She was a proud grandmother to Xedrick of California, a loving sister and aunt, and a deeply compassionate friend. 


As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Jane cared for her patients with extraordinary kindness and treated them like family. Her dedication and empathy left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. 


Jane was a passionate Boston Celtics fan and an avid reader. She shared her love of books with her children, instilling in them a lifelong appreciation for learning and imagination. 


Her warmth, generosity, and boundless love for her family will never be forgotten. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, strength, and unwavering devotion to those she held dear. 


Visiting hours will be held on Friday June 20th from 8:30-9:30am. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Parish Milton at 10am. Burial private.
