James L. Ferretti III Obituary

James “Jim” L. Ferretti, III passed away peacefully on Friday, December 20, 2024, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 68 years of age.


Jim was born and raised in Canton, Massachusetts. He was preceded in death by his parents, James L. Ferretti, Jr. and Mrs. Irene Ferretti. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Inna V. Ferretti (Erokhima), his sons James G. Love of Florida and Jason N. Ferretti and his wife Tara of New York, his daughters Alisha I. Ferretti of Massachusetts and Alexandra L. Ferretti of New Hampshire. His grandchildren include Paloma and Enzo Ferretti, Mia and Sam Annand, and Madison Ridley. Jim is also survived by his sister, Cheryl Harland Muller of Texas, his brother-in-law Frank M. Muller, Jr., and brother, John D. Ferretti of Massachusetts. He was predeceased by his sister Karen Ferretti.


Jim graduated from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University with duals degrees in aviation and business management. Jim held a commercial pilot license and had a passion for flying. In his professional life, Jim was a business owner and real estate developer. Jim was kind and loving with a big heart and a larger-than-life personality.


Visiting hours will be held Friday, December 27, 2024, from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Avenue, Milton, Massachusetts. Visitation will be followed by a service from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm at the funeral home.
