Helen M. Luosey (Pentz), a beacon of warmth and affection to all who knew her, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2025, at the Village at Proprietors Green in Marshfield. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Helen's life was a testament to the power of kindness, love, and dedication to family.
Raised in Dorchester, Helen was a proud graduate of Dorchester High School, where she formed lifelong friendships and laid the foundation for the remarkable woman she would become. Helen's journey continued as she became the beloved wife of the late Edward G. Luosey, and together they built a life filled with love and laughter.
Helen was a devoted mother to her children, Deborah Lenahan and her husband Richard of Marshfield, Edward Luosey of Milton, and Stephen Luosey and his wife Nicole of Weymouth. Her nurturing spirit extended to her siblings, Lorraine Blesedell of Avon, Joan Doherty of Avon, and Arlene Knights of Ossipee, NH. Helen's role as a grandmother and great-grandmother was one she cherished deeply, sharing her boundless love with Kelsey Silva and her husband Tucker of Marshfield, Carley Lenahan of Marshfield, Andrew Luosey of Weymouth, Natalie Luosey of Weymouth, and her great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Crew Silva of Marshfield.
Throughout her life, Helen exemplified the virtues of a dedicated homemaker and worked with passion and commitment in various roles. She served as an Administrative Assistant for Liberty Mutual Insurance and for the Town Clerk in Milton, showcasing her organizational skills and attention to detail. Her entrepreneurial spirit shone as she successfully sold Avon Cosmetics for years, bringing beauty and joy to her customers. Additionally, Helen's friendly and engaging personality made her the perfect Hostess at the Milton Hillhouse Restaurant, where she welcomed patrons with her signature smile.
A woman of faith, Helen was an active parishioner at St. Mary of the Hills Church in Milton. Her devotion to her faith was evident in her actions and the way she lived her life. One of Helen's great joys was hosting family holiday gatherings, where she would entertain with grace and ensure that everyone felt at home. Her table was not just a place for meals but a place where memories were made and bonds were strengthened.
As we say goodbye to Helen M. Luosey, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a woman dearly loved. Her spirit will forever be a guiding light to her family, and her memory will be cherished in the hearts of all who were graced by her presence. Relatives and friends invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Mary of the Hills Church, Milton Thursday March 13th at 11:30 am. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton Thursday morning prior to the mass from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Burial following the mass will be at Milton Cemetery.
