Georgina "Gina" Frances (McCarren) Lambert Walden Obituary
Georgina Frances Lambert Walden, affectionately known as Gina to her friends and family, passed away unexpectedly on July 19th, 2025. Born on May 23, 1963, Gina's vibrant spirit and boundless energy brought joy to all who knew her.
Gina's life was marked by her loving relationships and her passion for her work. Beloved daughter of the late Joan Mary and Robert Joseph McCarren. She was the cherished wife of the late John Lambert and later, the adored John Walden. As a mother, she was the heart of her family, guiding her children, Lucas Lambert and his wife Kelly of Braintree, and Georgina T. Lambert and her husband Reese Grey of Belmont, NH, with love and wisdom. Gina's role as Nana to her grandchildren, Lydon, Ashton, and Adrienne, was one she embraced with delight, filling their lives with laughter and cherished memories.
The youngest of a large and close-knit family, Gina grew up surrounded by her siblings, David McCarren and his wife Marybeth of Stowe, ME, Mary Quinlan and her husband Kevin of Marblehead, John McCarren of Millis, James McCarren of Quincy, and Patricia Kelly and her husband James Lee of Braintree. She carried the memory of her late brothers, Bobby and Michael McCarren, in her heart always. Gina is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Gina's professional journey as a hairstylist began after she graduated from Toni & Guy Cosmetology School. She brought beauty and confidence to countless clients at Salon 401 in Canton, Genesis Salon in Newton, and cherished her experiences working in Faneuil Hall and on Newbury Street. Her creativity and skill earned her a loyal clientele, and her colleagues became lifelong friends. Gina's passion for her craft was matched only by her love for her family.
An avid golfer, Gina was a familiar face at Westboro Country Club. Her natural talent for the sport was evident when she achieved a hole-in-one shortly after taking up golf. Gina's enthusiasm for golf was infectious, and she was always ready to join a tournament or share a round with friends.
Gina lived her life with a sense of adventure and an insatiable desire to learn. She never shied away from new experiences and was a forever student at heart. Her interests were many, but above all, she cherished the time spent with her family and especially adored her role as a grandmother.
Those who knew Gina will remember her as a loving, kind, and creative soul. Her warmth and generosity touched the lives of many, and her legacy of love and joy will continue to inspire those she left behind. Gina's life was a testament to the power of love, the beauty of family bonds, and the joy of following one's passions. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
