Gaspare Scurti Obituary

Gaspare "Doc" Scurti, was born on July 7, 1930 in Boston, Massachusetts and died peacefully on June 5, 2020. He was the beloved husband of the late Ruth (Rogerson) Scurti. Born and raised in Boston, Gaspare was a resident of Milton, MA for over 46 years. He was the eldest son born to the late Joseph Scurti and Maria (Parrinelo) Scurti of Boston and is survived by his two brothers, Frank Scurti of Naples, FL and John Scurti of Plymouth, MA. He is also  survived by his devoted children Frank Scurti of Milton, Rosanne Scurti of Milton, Denise Dresser and her husband Shawn Dresser of Deltona, FL, daughter Victoria Coughlin and her husband James Coughlin of Weymouth, MA and son Derek Scurti and his wife Jennifer Scurti of Weymouth, MA. Gaspare is also survived by his dear grandsons, Brendan Coughlin and David Coughlin of Weymouth, MA and Matthew Dresser of Deltona, FL. Gaspare had a long time companion, the late Marilyn Crifo, formerly of Raynham. He had served in the U.S. Army overseas during the Korean Conflict, holding the rank of Sergeant at the time of his discharge. Gaspare had retired from his career as a Sheet Metal Worker and a member of Local #17. A family Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, morning at 10, followed by a burial service at  Milton Cemetery at 10:45 am.
