Frances (Efrosine) (Lolos) Bolos, 85, of Milton, Massachusetts died suddenly on March 4, 2023.
She was born on February 27, 1938, the beloved fourth child of Aphrodite (Chicos) Lolos and
Charles Lolos. She was graduated from Roxbury Memorial School for Girls and Bentley School of
Accounting. She was predeceased by her husband of twenty-five years, Nicholas G. Bolos.
Frances had a passion for life. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, daughter and
sister. She knew traditional Greek dances and even danced them into her seventies. She
believed in working hard and playing hard and was well-known for her famous margaritas and
flair for colorful, unique fashion. She held many jobs from fashion buyer to business owner,
working side-by-side with her husband at Medical Arts Apothecary and Medical Arts Surgical
and Fitting. She traveled solo and with her family well into her eighties to Greece, Turkey, Spain,
Portugal, France, England, Ireland, Holland, Sweden, Finland, Hungary, Mexico, and Peru, as
well as many islands in the Caribbean. She spent the last 18 years living at Fuller Village where
she made many wonderful friends and was an active member of the community. She is survived
by her daughter, Suzanne (Bolos) Westhues and son-in-law, Jukka Westhues, two
grandchildren, Anja Westhues and Kolja Westhues, one nephew, Richard Lolos of Wrentham,
Massachusetts, and several cousins. She was predeceased by her sister, Joan L. Booras and her
brother, Arthur C. Lolos.
Visiting hours will be held Saturday March 11 from 10-11am at St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church, 119 Common St. in Braintree.
A service will be held at 11am following the visiting hours.
Interment at Pine Grove Cemetery Manchester NH.
