Doe Pichard Obituary
Doe Pichard (known to her childhood friends as DoDo) of Quincy and formerly of Boston, the beloved wife of the late William Pichard, passed away on November 29, 2025, surrounded by her devoted family, after a life beautifully lived and dedicated to those she loved.
Born in Boston, Doe grew up in the South End neighborhood, the cherished daughter of the late Albert and Amalia (Paglia) Mahanna. She enjoyed close relationships with her many aunts and uncles and shared an especially deep bond with her late aunts Jane “Jenny” Cerrato and Rose Thomas.
Doe is survived by her daughter Lisa-Kelli and her husband, Daniel B. Totten; her beloved granddaughter, Ashley Brooke Totten; her son, David Albert Pichard, and his daughter, Doe’s beloved granddaughter, Haley Ann Pichard. She is also survived by her loving sister, Toni-Ann Mahanna. Doe was predeceased by her sister Judith Burke (Mahanna) and her brother Joseph Mahanna.
She leaves her niece, Mary Beth Neville, and her husband Shaun, along with their sons, Liam and Ben Neville; her brother-in-law, Thomas Burke; and her nephew, Thomas Burke Jr. Doe is also survived by many loving cousins and dear friends.
Doe served for many years as a valued staff member in the Office of the Attorney General of Massachusetts in Boston, where she was honored as “Employee of the Year.” Prior to her work with the Attorney General’s Office, she enjoyed a successful career in real estate across the South Shore.
A talented and generous cook, Doe hosted countless holidays and special celebrations for family and friends. She was an avid reader, enjoyed home decorating and gardening, and was a devoted shopping enthusiast. She treasured her summer vacations on Cape Cod surrounded by loved ones and traveled to Bermuda, Ireland, Florida, and California, enjoying many of these journeys with her sisters. Doe also cherished time spent with her late father, Albert Mahanna, at his home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours at the Alfred Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Avenue, Milton, Massachusetts, on Friday December 5th from 4:00pm-7:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday December 6th at St. Agatha Parish Milton at 10:30am. Burial to follow at Fairview cemetery.
