Dennis G. Van Minden of Mansfield, formerly of W. Bridgewater passed away October 1st.  Born and raised in Weymouth, he graduated from Boston Trade High School in 1960.  He owned and operated his own business, Pioneer Contractors for years before he worked for Keith Construction, a Kitchen and Bath Installer in Stoughton before retiring.  In his free time Dennis enjoyed gardening, cooking, dining out, cars, and loved wood working. 
Beloved father of Andrea Van Minden of Mansfield; as well as a daughter and two grandchildren of Mansfield.  Brother of the late Orient and John Van Minden.  Also survived by several cousins.  Funeral Service at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave. Milton Thursday morning at 11:00 am.  Visiting hour prior to the service Thursday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 am.  Burial Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.  Donations may be made in his memory to TT’s Animal Foundation PO Box 250 Accord, MA 02018 or to the Dementia Society of America at www.dementiasociety.org
